For your 5Th blog this semester, please follow the following link to our course documents and view and print both "Essay 3" and "Essay 3 Sample". Read the assignment and the sample thoroughly. Then write a blog entry detailing 1) what you understand the assignment to be asking you to do, 2) what you are confused about, 3) what you need to know to complete the assignment, and 4) what you think you might want to write about.
After reading through the Essay3 sample and Essay 3 Explication Draft, I understand that your asking us to go more in depth with analyzing poetry. Instead of picking out that main symbolized subjects, you want us to symbolize everything that can be symbolized. You want us to find the tone and give examples of what words hold the tone in the poem. For right now I'm not confused about anything. I understand what your looking for in this essay. I need to know more about the poet of the poem, how to find symbolism and tone in the poem that I chosen. I also need to know how to work cite my sources correctly, and I need to find a new poem.Right now I'm not sure if I want to use the same poem, I've been using for my last two essay or pick a new poem, altogether.
